As Donna ate her soup, she began to have a flashback of her bad day. She hadn’t had one in a long time. The small taste of the curse ignited those flashbacks and gave her something new which she would experience more than once. As she stood at the edge of town, she helplessly watched the man die. He cried out to her in pain, asking for her help to make it stop. There was nothing she could do and she was frozen in place. Running was something she wanted to do but she couldn’t even do that. She tried to do both so hard and running away would help the man, she thought. She was so frightened. Donna was in her mid-twenties. She had been running for a short time now. This was her first town that she couldn’t escape from. This man’s body was melting right before her eyes. She had seen it before but not this close. The smell of the burning flesh as it melted made Donna sick and she vomited right there on the street. The man reached for her and grabbed her arm. His arm broke into two as she was able to pull away in fear. He fell over, crashing against the paved road. Blood splattered all over her. It happened so quickly. Donna panicked even more and was able to run. Her legs felt so light as her body moved swiftly. She never knew she could run that fast like that. She didn’t know what to do, where to go. All she knew was that she needed to get away from there as fast as she could. She was caught in the middle of everyone dieing and there was no escaping it, even now with it being over with. When Donna opened her eyes, she realized she was on the floor. J was looking down at her. She had passed out like she had with all the flashbacks from before, when she had the curse. Now it was in Rose’s veins….
